An Ode To The PRincess

Halseyy Parkk

01/ The Challenge

This project is special to me. Not because it was my first international assignment but because I got to create with my good friends at Halseyy Parkk.

When the founder, Andreas, first approached me about the project at the beginning of 2019, we only had a seedling of an idea.

We knew that we would be heading to London to host his first store pop up.

He wanted to create a project that not only highlighted UK historic fashion influence; but something that embodied what the Halseyy Parkk brand stood for.

After months of planning, we came up with this campaign, a tribute to the late Princess Diana.

02/ The Story

For this project, the team decided to recreate some of Princess Diana’s most iconic looks but incorporate some of their own retro pieces that they actually offered at their store.

This was my first international campaign so the scouting process went a differently then typically. Prior to our arrival we scouted virtually via Google Maps and the day before the shoot we drove around to confirm their availability and make sure it matched the theme.

03/ THE RESULTS

As a final product we were able to deliver assets that matched the clients vision completely.

What began as only a mood board, a phone call and a few color schemes was fleshed out to a high quality nation wide campaign to introduce what’s soon to be the industry leader in cultural hair products.

Client Testimonial

Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Jarrod on an editorial project where I was not able to attend the shoot. While I was nervous about the idea of not being present for the content capture, Jarrod was able to put those nerves to bed with his preparation and attention to detail. He perfectly executed the vision and created beautiful imagery that not only helped with the brand’s overall direction but we came away with content that helped our credibility as a company and you cannot put a price to that! - Andreas, Founder
