“Summer Time Kickin’ It”

01/ The Challenge

The homies at Foot Action were looking to capture some new content for their social media feed to display some of their new summer merchandise.

This was one of their first campaigns while battling COVID-19 so it was important that the images showed that their content team hadn’t missed a beat.



02/ The Story

While working on concepts with the producer and creative director of this shoot, one thing that we agreed on focusing on vibrant and bright colors as well as model posing in these shots to capture viewers attention.

Since the producer wasn’t able to attend the shoot, it was important that our line of communication was clear and direct. To make sure we were all aligned and on the same page, we utilized detailed shot list and mood boards.

My thought process while shooting this campaign was that I wanted to have some type of splash of color in every shot; whether that be with the clothing or utilizing props like bikes or fire hydrants.

By doing this and using simple backgrounds for majority of the shots, the viewers attention is drawn in to the models and their outfits.



03/ THE Results

We knew that when we came out this photoshoot, we wanted to have some high quality ever green “summer time” content that Foot Action could use to draw the attention back into their brand and online store and that’s exactly what we did.
