BET Network: Artist in Residency Feature

So a few weeks ago, I was just chilling + living my life when I got a pop up on my phone.

At first, I thought it was a joke because I couldn’t imagine BET actually wanting to reach out to me, but it was in fact real!

They were inviting me to participate in their new series BET Artist in Residency campaign. Was a dope opportunity to sit down with them + the team to discuss who I am as an artist, what inspires me + some goals I have for my self.

I recieved a lot of love from both friends + family but also from some folks that I never got to meet before.

One of the biggest compliments I got was actually from Beyonce + Solange’s mom, Ms. Tina Lawson.
